Meet The Team
Raised in Jersey, Alexandra Frankham has worked in the field of musculoskeletal, obstetric and urogynaecology physiotherapy since 2005, within both public and private enterprises, including working as a qualified pilates instructor (DMA Pilates, Austrialia). Alexandra currenlty works both privately and for the Staes of Jersey, assisting women to recover after childbirth. Alexandra graduated from the University of Southampton in 2003, worked in Wales, and furthered her physiotherapy experience in the southern hemisphere where she gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Continence and Pelvic floor Rehabilitation from the University of Melbourne, Australia, a Postgraduate Certificate in Acupuncture from the Univertisty of Otago, New Zealand, and a Masters of Health Practice from the Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand.
Paul Frankham hails from Auckland, New Zealand. After graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from the Auckland University of Technology, he worked at one of the country's busiest sports physiotherapy clinics in the South Island of New Zealand, primarily treating ski and snowboard-related injuries. After specialising in the field he became a physiotherapist for the men's US Ski Team's Alpine World Cup team, travelling in Europe and abroad with the team for three years. In 2013, Paul began his postgraduate university studies and graduated with a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science (musculoskeletal physiotherapy). Paul has over 11 years of experience working in private practice physiotherapy and with elite sports teams, and continues to work closely with the US Ski Team. In 2014 he travelled as physio with Team USA to the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
Fiona Robinson, originally from the north east of Scotaldn, Fiona moved to Glasgow and graduated in 2014 from Glasgow Caledonian University with an honours degree in Physiotherapy. Throughout her studies she gained valuable sporting experience working at endurance events for Athletes' Angels and began her involvement with rugby working in the Scottish Premiership. After graduating, Fiona expended her experience by joining NHS Scotland in the Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedics departments, before seizing the opportunity to relocate to Jersey. Maintaining a passion for sports injury management, some of the highlights of her career including touring to locations such as Hong Kong and Ibiza for international rugby tournaments and working as Head Physiotherapist at Jersey Reds. More recently, Fiona spent the winter rehabilitating skiers and snowboarders in the Frech Alps where she also discovered her own passion for skiing. Fiona has a keen interest in functional rehabilitation and is passionate about the importance of upholding a positive mindset during the rehabilitation process. Outside of the practice you can find Fiona surfing, playing netball or riding her bike around the coast.
